BUILDING THE LOGO AND BRAND ELEMENTS
Coming onto the project, there were already amazing pitches in progress. Below are the logo ideas I pitched with Idea 2 being selected (with tons of edits). I am very proud of how the final logo came out and being able to work with Nickelodeon’s Brand and On-Air teams was a great experience! Below are the elements and animations I worked on that made it into the final guide and sizzle reel.

STYLE FRAMES
After the logo was approved I began designing style frames inspired by the new 2023 Nickelodeon Rebrand. Making sure to include key elements such as abstract slime pipes, 2D and 3D portals, bold typography and crazy icons.
TYPOGRAPHY
Jumping off the logo and into typography to create an exploration of 3D and 2D surreal combinations
ICONS
The icons below were conceptualized by the design team and I was able to help build them in 3D. Render engine was Octane.
PATTERNS
The patterns were a lot of fun to make early on in the design process, they inspired the style frames I pitched to the On-Air team.
LOWER 3RD
These Lower 3rds I designed and animated for the On-Air team. The Nick bug was designed and rigged by Hannah Segraves before I began animation.
TIMES SQUARE BILLBOARD
I worked on building the frame and all typography as well as designed the final logo lock-up at the end.
