Senior Thesis
For any artist who have ever struggled with a creative block, we wanted to make a piece for them. Jessica Lee, my thesis partner, and myself decided to make our very last school piece personal. Having just gotten over a hard semester of comparison complex and job stress, I began writing down my fears. “I’m never going to find a job, never being able to pay back my student loans, I have to go back home with my head hanging in shame.” And then finally, questioning why was I even doing art in the first place?
Eventually I realized that I was in a block all semester, and then the idea for our thesis was born.

Below is the technical process of Collage, we show the process from original sketches to photoshop illustrations to building the skins for our 3D objects. This was very experimental for us. We built mood boards of art from Chromosphere studios and we tried to see if we can translate that style into Cinema 4D.
